Scan your MensaCard
Simply tap the "Scan Mensa Card" button and hold your MensaCard near the top of your iPhone. You will instantly be shown your current balance, as well as the last transaction you made with your MensaCard in a colorful card at the top of the app and stays there, even if you restart the app.
Track your Balance History
Your MensaCard's balance is saved over time and displayed in an clear and easy to understand graph right below the colorful card with the details of the last scan. If you've set up the "My Card" feature, you'll only see the readings from your MensaCard in there, while also being able to quickly scan a fellow student's MensaCard.
Apple Shortcuts Support
Set up a personal automation in the Shortcuts app on your iPhone to scan your MensaCard without having to open the MensaCard app first. Just place your MensaCard near the top of your iPhone and have it scanned automatically.This feature only works on iPhone XS/XR or newer.
Homescreen Widgets
Have your MensaCard's balance displayed right on your homescreen, without having to open the app. The widget is available in three different sizes: A small one with only the most relevant information, a medium-sized widget with some additional information, and a large widget which also shows a graph with your balance history.Supported Universities

In theory, every mensa card using the InterCard or MagnaCarta payment system should be supported by MensaCard. However, I can't promise that there are no exceptions.
Mensa cards of the universities marked as "verified" have been tested to work with MensaCard either by me or by a student from that respective university.
"Unverified" universities are known to use one of the supported payment systems, but have not been tested yet.
If you successfully scanned your balance of a mensa card from an university either marked "unverified" or not listed, please let me know at mensacard (at) fabian-thies.de. It helps fellow students too!
